⁴⁸ They journeyed from the mountains of Abarim and ^(A)camped in the plains of Moab by the Jordan opposite Jericho. ⁴⁹ They camped by the Jordan, from Beth-jeshimoth as far as ^(B)Abel-shittim in the plains of Moab.

⁵⁰ Then the Lord spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan opposite Jericho, saying,
